“We cant recommend Sarah enough! She is without a doubt the best dog trainer we have ever met.
We contacted Sarah because we wanted to do 121 training with our puppy, Levi, as training is always important for puppys development, however Sarah did so much more than that. After just the FIRST hour of training we had when she came to our house, everything was different. Not only did she help us make sure we were training correctly (with positive reinforcement at the right times), with “mat” and “sit”, she demonstrated the right techniques to show Levi that “biting does not get attention and isn’t how we want to interact” in a way that Levi can understand.
Within days we were able to sit together and do fun things together as a family and not worry about him deciding that our hands or feet are part of the game. He is still a puppy and still learning, but the time we spent with Sarah was invaluable. We would definitely go with her again as its clear from the first few seconds with her that she loves doggos and loves what she does!
By our third session meeting Sarah in a field, Levi was always super excited in the car when he saw where we were. She also started to teach us advanced techniques such as “spin” and “middle” and showed us the path towards loose lead walking and maybe even no lead one day (once he has perfect recall). She also gave us lots of advice when we mentioned we were looking at doggy daycares etc. A++
